BROKERING YOUR BOAT FROM START TO FINISH
BROKER AGREEMENT
The Boat Brokerage Agreement is completed between the seller and broker. This lays out the terms of the brokerage agreement including fees and length of agreement.
BOAT RECEIVED
In most cases we will take possession of the boat for marketing and showings at our Clayton location. Boats that are stored in slips or dry stack will stay there during the sales process.
IMAGING
The boat is professionally imaged with detailed shots of the vessel taken. Images are then edited in preparation for the listing.
LISTING
The vessel is then listed on multiple platforms including Boat Trader, our own website, Yacht Closer MLS Platform as well as our popular Facebook and Instagram Accounts.
SEA TRIAL
Prospective buyer's who have made an acceptable offer and placed a 10% deposit then water test the boat with our staff.
FINANCING
We work with buyers to assist them in obtaining financing with our partner lenders if necessary.
FINAL TRANSACTION
We handle the final transaction including closing documents,
financial exchange, titling and insurance.
